About the event

Procurement is facing sharper scrutiny because budgets are tighter, oversight is stronger, fraud risk is higher, and organizations are expected to prove fairness, value, and compliance with clear evidence. A process that seems reasonable is not enough when decisions must be defended to auditors, regulators, boards, funders, and the public. When procurement is not assurance ready, the consequences show up fast through adverse audit findings, delayed projects, supplier disputes, investigations, reputational damage, and financial leakage caused by weak controls and poor documentation.


This workshop equips participants to design and run procurement that can withstand rigorous review. It covers governance and accountability across roles and committees, approval frameworks, segregation of duties, conflict of interest controls, and practical ways to prevent bid manipulation and evaluation weaknesses.
